How to configure Consent Reprompting for your consent banner
Consent Reprompting is a feature that can help you obtain consent from users who have previously declined consent for specific categories.
This article will show you how you can enable and configure this option. Please note that this is a Consent Studio Professional feature.
What is Consent Reprompting?
Consent Reprompting is a Consent Studio feature that allows you to set a chance to re-ask users for consent on a specific category after they initially declined. Reprompting banners are smaller than the default banner.
You can configure a percentage for each category. On each new page a user visits within the domain, the banner may appear and re-ask the user for consent, based on the percentage you have set.
Configuring Consent Reprompting
To enable or configure Consent Reprompting, navigate to Web CMP > Reprompting.
On this page, you can enable Consent Reprompting for each category and set a percentage for the chance that it can appear.
After you're done, don't forget to click on the Save & Publish button.
