"Wix app appears to be removed"

What the Wix app appears to be removed Monitoring suggestion means, why you're seeing it and what to do

Last updated About 2 hours ago

Wix app appears to be removed is a suggestion in Consent Studio Monitoring. Active recommendations show on the Start page of your domain's dashboard and on the Recommendations page (Monitoring dropdown in the top bar). This suggestion is only shown in the dashboard. We don't send it by email.

What this recommendation means

The recommendation says: "It looks like the Consent Studio app was removed from your Wix site, so we can no longer publish or update your consent banner there. If this was not intentional, reinstall the app to restore your banner."

When the app is removed from a Wix site, the Consent Studio banner is removed from that site as well. Visitors no longer see it. Your domain, settings and subscription in Consent Studio stay as they are.

Why you're seeing it

The Consent Studio app was uninstalled in Wix

Wix let us know that the Consent Studio app was removed from your Wix site. Someone with access to the site may have uninstalled it on purpose, or by accident.

How to resolve it

  1. Click Reinstall on Wix on the recommendation.

  2. Install the Consent Studio app on your Wix site again.

  3. Consent Studio then publishes your banner to Wix again.

For the full Wix setup, see Wix: How to install Consent Studio.

The recommendation closes by itself as soon as the app is installed again. You don't need to wait for a scan.

Did you remove the app on purpose, for example because you stopped using this Wix site? Then this suggestion is safe to dismiss.

Common questions

Does removing the app cancel my subscription?

No. Removing the app only removes the banner from your Wix site. To stop your subscription, see Cancelling subscriptions.
