"Reconnect your Webflow account"

What the Reconnect your Webflow account Monitoring recommendation means, why you're seeing it and how to resolve it

Last updated About 2 hours ago

Reconnect your Webflow account is an urgent recommendation in Consent Studio Monitoring. Active recommendations show on the Start page of your domain's dashboard and on the Recommendations page (Monitoring dropdown in the top bar). Collaborators on the domain may also receive it by email.

What this recommendation means

The recommendation says: "We can no longer publish your consent banner to Webflow because the Webflow connection is no longer active. Reconnect your Webflow account to keep your banner up to date."

Consent Studio publishes your banner to your Webflow site through your connected Webflow account. Every time you save changes in Consent Studio, we publish again. When we try to publish and the Webflow connection is missing, this recommendation appears.

Why you're seeing it

Access was revoked in Webflow

The authorization for Consent Studio was removed on the Webflow side, so we can no longer publish to your site.

The connection was never completed

The Webflow sign-in or authorization step was started but not finished.

The Webflow account was disconnected in Consent Studio

The Webflow account used for this domain is no longer connected in Consent Studio.

How to resolve it

  1. Click Reconnect Webflow on the recommendation.

  2. Sign in to Webflow and authorize Consent Studio.

  3. You return to the Installation page in Consent Studio, on the Webflow tab. Consent Studio publishes your banner to Webflow straight away.

For the full Webflow setup, see Webflow: How to install Consent Studio.

The recommendation closes by itself as soon as Consent Studio has published to Webflow successfully again. You don't need to wait for a scan.

Common questions

Can I dismiss it?

Yes, but it comes back after 5 days if publishing to Webflow still fails.
