The Consent Studio CMP can be installed on your website in a matter of minutes
We have several guides on how to install Consent Studio on your website.
Make sure that you have registered the domain you are planning to implement Consent Studio on in the Consent Studio Dashboard.
Not sure which guide to pick? In the dashboard, open Web CMP, click Install Consent Studio and answer the questions. The Installation Wizard then recommends a method:
WordPress: our WordPress plugin. Laravel: our Laravel package. Shopify: custom code in your theme.
Webflow or Wix: the integration or code, depending on your answers.
Can you edit your website's code? Then you get Code: add the Installation Code directly in the
<head>, as high as possible and before Google Tag Manager or gtag.js. This also applies if you use GTM and choose No preference.Do you use Google Tag Manager and can't, or prefer not to, edit code? Or did you choose Google Tag Manager as your preference? Then you get Use our GTM Tag Template.
Why placement in the <head> matters: see Google Consent Mode Load Order.
Use our templates or plugins
Install Consent Studio with our GTM Tag Template (if you use Google Tag Manager and don't edit your website's code)
Manual Code Implementations
Manual Code in combination with Google Tag Manager (Installation Code directly in the
<head>, before the GTM container script; this is what the wizard recommends when you can edit your code)
