How Tag Templates work in Consent Studio Launcher
Use the Template Library to add tools to your site without pasting code

What a Tag Template is
A Tag Template is a pre-built tag for a specific tool. It already has the right fields, a sensible default trigger, and the consent category that tool needs. You fill in your account or property details and publish. You do not paste the vendor's code yourself.
Where to find Tag Templates
In the dashboard, open Launcher.

Under Workspace, go to Tags. Click Tag, then Create from Template. That opens the Template Library.

Templates are grouped by section (for example Analytics, Advertising, Tracking, and Customer Experience).
You can scroll the list or use the search bar. If a tool is missing, use Request a Template, or create a tag with Create from Scratch.
How to add a template
Open Workspace β Tags.
Click Tag β Create from Template.
Pick the template you need and click Use Template.

Enter the required fields (such as a pixel ID or property ID).
Check the tag's consent settings, then create the tag.
When you are ready, click Publish on the Tags page so the change goes live.

Consent and templates
Most templates load only after the visitor has accepted the relevant consent categories. You can change that in the tag's consent settings. Prefer the default unless you have a clear reason to do otherwise.
