Reseller API (v1)
What the Reseller API is for, who can use it and how to get an API key
What the Reseller API is for
The Consent Studio Reseller API lets you manage the sites of the customers you serve from your own systems. You can create and configure sites, manage their pages, aliases and tracking technologies, link sites to a parent subscription, and invite people to manage them.
Who can use it
The Reseller API is only for resellers in the Consent Studio Partner Programme. It is not available to other customers. Not a partner yet? Read How to become a Consent Studio Partner.
How to get an API key
Reseller API keys are not self-service. You cannot create one in the Consent Studio dashboard.
To request a key, email partners@consent.studio. This is the only way to get one. Include the following information:
Existing Reseller Name
Personal name
Phone number
Purpose
Keep your API key secret. Anyone who has it can manage your sites through the API. If you think your key has leaked, email partners@consent.studio so it can be revoked.
Endpoints, authentication and limits
Every request is authenticated with your API key, sent as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.
All endpoints, request and response fields, authentication details, rate limits and error codes are in the Reseller API reference. That reference is generated from our code, so it always matches the current version of the API.
