Reconnect your Wix account is an urgent recommendation in Consent Studio Monitoring. Active recommendations show on the Start page of your domain's dashboard and on the Recommendations page (Monitoring dropdown in the top bar). Collaborators on the domain may also receive it by email.
What this recommendation means
The recommendation says: "We can no longer publish your consent banner to Wix because the Wix connection is no longer active. Reconnect your Wix account to keep your banner up to date."
Consent Studio publishes your banner to your Wix site through the Consent Studio app on Wix. Every time you save changes in Consent Studio, we publish again. When we try to publish and the connection with your Wix site is missing, this recommendation appears.
Why you're seeing it
The connection with your Wix site is no longer active
Consent Studio no longer has a working connection with the Consent Studio app on your Wix site, so it can't publish there.
If Wix told us that the app was removed from your site, you'll see Wix app appears to be removed instead.
How to resolve it
Click Reconnect Wix on the recommendation. The Consent Studio app page on Wix opens in a new tab.
Install the app on your Wix site again. This restores the connection.
Consent Studio then publishes your banner to Wix again.

The recommendation closes by itself as soon as the app is installed again, or after the next successful publish to Wix. You don't need to wait for a scan.
Common questions
Can I dismiss it?
Yes, but it comes back after 5 days if publishing to Wix still fails.
