Transparent User Consent Log on Banner
I want a way to configure the banner to transparently show the user's own consent log directly to them. This is important because a privacy-focused developer suggested that without this, there may be GDPR violations in Germany.

PinnedHi all!
Our new v2 banner is now in general availability and consent choice information to the user is now part of it.
Everyone can switch to the v2 consent banner on demand and newly registered domains will automatically run on the new engine. We look forward to hearing what you think of it.
Wishing you a good day.
Best,
Thierry

PinnedThank you for your feedback! We will include this in our banner upgrades coming next month. Alongside Launcher, this change to Web CMP will be a great improvement for the German market and we’re happy to accommodate to your request!

Hi all! This has officially been shipped as part of the v2 consent banner that we now offer in general availability.
New domains will automatically be on v2.
Existing domains can switch to v2 at will.

Hi all! We are making progress on this. By adding the feature of storing the Consent Log timestamp locally in-browser (https://improve.consent.studio/p/store-consent-log-record-timestamp-client-side), we have created an API endpoint in both the existing v1 and v2 banners.
In Web CMP Consent Banner v2 (https://improve.consent.studio/p/consent-banner-v2), this will be used to enhance the “Your Consent” section.
You can already try this out on https://consent.studio, where you can see the v2 consent banner in action already! :)

Hi there!
We are working on the solution in the screenshot below.
The consent ID can be easily copied for communication.
“Granted” displays the categories that have been consented to.
“Timestamp” will display the date and time of when the last consent was given.
This block will be floating below the main consent banner. It will not show when no consent has been registered just yet (first time visitors).
We look forward to hearing from you.
Note: this will be part of our v2 banner design.
